1. Who will get the most out of author coaching? +

Authors who are just starting out on their independent or self-publishing journey or established authors looking to brainstorm how to “level up” their career through strategic choices will likely get the most out of these sessions.

2. What are LJ’s qualifications? +

LJ has a decade of experience as an independent self-published author and traditionally published author of genre fiction. She has studied writing craft, business strategy, marketing, and many more aspects of building and sustaining a successful author career.

3. How are coaching sessions conducted? +

Coaching is held conveniently thorough Zoom, enabling us to meet anywhere, at any time. You will receive a Zoom link upon scheduling your author support session.

4. Are sessions video or audio? +

Whatever you’re more comfortable with is fine with me. As someone who spends a lot of time as an elusive witch in the writing hut, LJ gets not wanting to turn on the camera.

5. Does LJ offer in-person coaching? +

While LJ does not offer one-on-one face-to-face author coaching at this time, if you are a school, company, organization, or event planner and would like to discuss an in person class or seminar, please use the contact form to get in touch with LJ regarding your idea.

6. Will the session be recorded? +

LJ does not not allow recording of author support sessions at this time, but please take all the notes you want! As this might change, please check back in the future.

7. What genres can LJ coach? +

Anything written for adults! LJ has experience in genre fiction as an independent and traditionally published author. The children’s markets are very different and children’s authors will benefit most from advice tailored to their niche.
