Hello, Darling! I hope you enjoy my stories – welcome to worlds of romantasy and dark fantasy romance.
The question I get asked the most is: Do I need to read one series before another? The short answer is no.
I am often asked about the “correct” reading order for my books. Honestly, there’s no one best place to start. You can read the series in any order. The truth is that no matter where you start reading my books, you’re in for a great story with found family, adventure, passion, and more than a little spice.
You can read all about me and my books, but the short version is that my life as LJ Andrews took off with The Broken Kingdoms series. I expanded that world with The Ever Seas series, which tells the story of the generation after The Broken Kingdoms couples. The Ever Seas series will continue to be published with new books through 2028.
I am very slightly partial to reading The Broken Kingdoms first so you have the background and will recognize those characters when you see them again in The Ever Seas. However, there are many readers who insist that The Ever Seas should be read first. No matter what, you cannot make the wrong choice – both options are correct.
My Broken Souls and Bones duology and Of Mischief and Mages standalone novel are written in totally unrelated worlds. You can read them entirely independently from The Broken Kingdoms or The Ever Seas.
I’ll also be launching an entirely new series in a completely different world in 2027. This is unlike anything you’ve seen from me before and I can’t wait to explore this new world with you!
