So I thought I’d share the vibes you’ll be getting and a little excerpt.

“Kage.” I shook him gently. “Kage, wake up. You’re—“
My short lived scream pierced the silence of the room when he snapped awake. Like a spark catching flame, Kage rolled me beneath his body and leveled a knife he’d pulled from beneath his pillow at my throat.
The smooth brown of his eyes darkened to charcoal and held a touch of violence, like one wrong move from me would awaken a monster trapped within.
He blinked once, twice, then eased the knife back. ”If you’re here to kill me, Wildling, you ought to have a blade in your hand, or I might think you are in my bed for other reasons. Not that I would mind…”
